Safety: Hot Work
Protecting Workers from Hazards Associated with Welding, Cutting and Grinding. “Hot Work” includes types of work that include processes a source of ignition in instances where flammable materials may be present. Examples of hot work include welding, soldering, cutting, and grinding. If the process produces a spark, it is generally considered hot work.
